Airbrush tanning is becoming more and more popular as a safe alternative to laying out in the sun or going to a UV tanning salon. Many people have questions about this tanning method. Why is airbrush tanning safer than traditional methods?

Because your skin isn’t exposed to harmful UV rays, airbrush tanning does not come with the risks for sunburn, skin damage, skin cancer, and even vision damage that can result from traditional tanning methods. And the active ingredient in most airbrush tanning products, DHA, is safe according to the FDA and the American Academy of Dermatology.

Why is airbrush tanning better than other self-tanners?

While you can certainly buy creams and sprays to give yourself a sunless tan at home, they often result in a streaky or drippy appearance, as well as that “fake tan” orange tint. Airbrush tans, on the other hand, apply an extremely even coat to your skin that looks just like you spent a day sunning yourself at the beach!

How long will it last?

Airbrush tans fade as the outer layer of the skin fades, so the length of time that your tan will stick around depends on your skin, how frequently you exfoliate, and how often you swim and shower. Generally, airbrush tans last about a week or so, give or take a day or two.

Can I remove my tan?

The pigments in the tanning products stain your skin, so it is not possible to completely remove it. The tan will fade by itself after a week or so, and you can help the process along by gently exfoliating your skin and spending time in the water.

Tambi Renee, the owner of Body Glo Mobile Airbrush Tanning, can’t get enough of concerts. Since she enjoys a wide variety of music, Tambi Renee attends concerts frequently. Here are a few that she has gone to recently and given her approval.

Jay-Z and Kanye West

According to Tambi Renee, the “Watch the Throne” show in Atlanta was exhilarating. These two titans of rap have collaborated to produce a show unlike any before it. Both Jay-Z and Kanye West perform hits from their single careers in addition to tracks off their recent collaboration. Tambi Renee loved the intense energy of the concert as the duo took to the stage an hour and half late and then proceeded to perform so many smash hits.

Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow

Tambi Renee embraced her country music-loving side by attending a Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow concert in Chicago. The melding of rock and country as the two stars performed their sets was vibrant and fun. Despite Tambi Renee’s preference for rock music, the depth of emotion in Sheryl Crow’s performance moved her. Kid Rock did not disappoint as he revisited many of the songs that gave him the nick name “American Bad Ass”. This combination created a great evening of music.

Lenny Kravitz

When Lenny Kravitz performed in Las Vegas recently in conjunction with his appearance at Muhammad Ali’s 70^th birthday celebration, Tambi Renee couldn’t resist making the trip to go to the concert. Tambi Renee enjoyed visiting Las Vegas, and the concert was energetic and full of her favorite Lenny Kravitz songs. There was even a special appearance by Slash.

LMFAO

LMFAO in Los Angeles was a visual overload.  The party fun atmosphere was full of bright colors and party favors in the form of zebras, beach balls etc. Concert goers decked themselves out in their idea of funky outfits…a lot of gold lame. Lol. It truly was a great party.

Def Leppard and Poison

The final show that Tambi Renee recommends as a recent favorite is Def Leppard and Poison.  The concert in Irvine featured many radio hits, such as “Hysteria” and “Love Bites.” The glam metal appeal of Poison fell a little short for Tambi Renee, but her admiration for the music of Def Leppard made this show one of her favorites.

Aerosmith and Cheap Trick

Steven Tyler puts on a great show, with a hard hitting great swagger and rock.  The talents of this band can not be denied, from guitar to drums this band delivers. I would certainly say this was a must see concert.

Tambi Renee Loves Going to Concerts

Tambi Renee knows it is important to enjoy little things in life. And one of the little things that Tambi Renee knows to enjoy is an evening out having fun. What can be more fun than a night spent at a concert? Tambi Renee admits that she loves concerts and has attended several concerts recently.

Tambi Renee is a very friendly individual and she loves being in an energetic environment. Concerts certainly provide the high energy environment that Tambi Renee looks for from time to time. She loves the music and the night out helps keep her feeling energized. And when Tambi Renee says she loves music she doesn’t mean that she just likes music from one particular genre. She enjoys many types of music from several genres.

She can easily list off a number of concerts she’s attended recently and she is proud that some of the concerts she’s attended enabled her to enjoy traveling around the country at the same time. While she is proud to call California home, she visited Atlanta for the Jay-Z/ Kanye West concert. Tambi Renee attended the concert, which was a kick off of “Watch the Throne” tour.

Another concert that Tambi Renee had enjoyed attending in 2011 was in Chicago featuring Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. In addition, to concerts featuring Kid Rock, Jay-Z, and Kanye West she has been to recent concerts for Lenny Kravitz, Def Leppard, and Rise Against. 

Tambi Renee enjoys listening to music. Part of her support for her favorite artists includes buying their music and attending their concerts as well. Since she loves to travel, it is nothing for Tambi Renee to travel to a large concert. She enjoys music and will continue to attend concerts in the future as long as there is a concert that interests her.

Fashion Catches the Eye of Tambi Renee

Tambi Renee has an eye for art. This also leads to her having an eye for fashion as well. Nothing speaks to Tambi Renee more than a well put together outfit. This means more than a blouse and skirt. Tambi Renee likes to see a full ensemble from the bag to the shoes. She also knows that you can pull a fashionable look together from just about anywhere.

Tambi Renee actually gets excited when she starts looking at fashion. She enjoys creating a fashionable look. She finds her creative mind whirling in activity when she looks at high fashion. She even has all the skills necessary to make a trendy outfit out of budget friendly clothing. This budget shopping for Tambi Renee often takes place in consignment shops where she can find new owners for her unwanted clothing while she shops for any outfits she may have missed in her previous shopping experiences. 

Of course, nothing completes an outfit as much as matching accessories. Tambi Renee is more than happy to look for a bag or a new pair of shoes to compliment new attire. Accessory shopping is just a part of turning a regular outfit into a fashionable outfit. 

It is Tambi Renee’s eye for art and color that helps her make her fashion creations. She enjoys the trendy looks and staying current in the trends of fashion.
